My Bag Takes on the Faroe Islands

PROS:
– Some of the purest ocean waters and air in the world. My leather loved it!
– The fish is beyond fresh. Please no fish doggy bags inside me, I hate the smell.
– Slowest romantic sunsets in the world: they last over four hours in the summer months. Too bad I was traveling alone, I could have used a sexy backpack to share them with.

CONS:
– They have a ‘fermented food’ tradition. Try it at your own risk. I didn’t.
– Very few places to eat and drink once you leave Tórshavn, the capital. Fill me up with water and food for the road.
– The weather changes from sunny, extremely foggy and major rainstorms in a matter of hours. It makes for an adventurous trip. Make sure you fill me with a raincoat, wool hat, windbreaker, sunscreen and some snacks and water.
